A group of pro-life organizations uncovered a freezer at the University of Washington containing the remains of aborted babies, exposing the university’s cruel and evil experimentation. The groups released a photo showing bags that contained the fetal body parts.
The Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, Pro-Life San Francisco, and Rehumanize International located the freezer “by examining invoices previously exposed via public records requests by Indiana Right to Life.”
For years, the University of Washington has fought to keep the details of its experiments secret. Journalist David Daleiden requested information about the university’s taxpayer-funded Birth Defects Research Laboratory. Planned Parenthood staff responded to his request with a lawsuit.
Now, we have a glimpse into the university’s cruel experiments, and it’s no wonder that the abortion industry has tried to cover it up.
“The reality that fetal organ harvesting is happening here in Seattle is heinous,” said PAAU organizer Kristin Monahan. “These are our fellow community members whose body parts are being trafficked when they are much too young to understand what is happening. These practices have a depressing effect on the adult family members and our community as a whole. I want better for my friends and peers, and their children alike.”
Every human life is immeasurably valuable, made in the image and likeness of God. By storing body parts in bags to be sold or used in experiments, traffickers are violating and denying the God-given dignity of the person. Sacred reflections of God Himself are being killed and negligently stored in freezers for selfish human interests. This is nothing less than evil and a grave offense against God.
“Despite how their traffickers choose to price their body parts, we know that these children’s worth is infinite and inherent,” said Executive Director of Rehumanize International Herb Geraghty. “They should not be killed so that researchers can receive more taxpayer funding for their experiments and private companies like Advanced Bioscience Resources can endlessly profit from the cruelty. It is only by exposing these unethical practices to the public and the media that we can hope to end them.”
This is the exact opposite of what Christ calls us to do. God tells us to lay down our lives for one another. Abortion ends the life of another for the sake of the one’s own interests. In this case, innocent human lives are being sacrificed for profit and research, and your taxpayer dollars are being used to commit this evil.
We are required always and everywhere to protect human life in all forms. “…However low it flickers or fiercely burns, it is still a Divine flame which no man dare presume to put out, be his motives ever so humane and enlightened,” said English writer Malcom Muggeridge. There is no justification for putting out a light that God has intentionally ignited, much less inhumanely using that life for selfish, worldly interests.
Babies within our own community are being labeled with dollar amounts and used as commodities. It’s up to us to expose these evil practices just as these pro-life groups have.
When we meet God on our judgement day, let us not have to answer for why we knew of this evil but did nothing. First and foremost, we should pray for an end to the vile and inhumane treatment of the unborn.
Secondly, UW has exceeded the evil of Auschwitz and what we learned about Josef Mengele who also conducted horrible and deadly medical experiments on human subjects in concentration camps. FPIW will now be supporting legislation and highlighting elected officials willing to ban these ghastly human experiments on unborn babies. This evil being done by UW must be stopped in our state.
Our attitudes should reflect that of William Wilberforce in 1791. “Never, never will we desist till we . . . extinguish every trace of this bloody traffic [slavery], of which our posterity, looking back to the history of those enlightened times, will scarce believe that it has been suffered to exist so long a disgrace and dishonor to this country.”
