We affirm the guiding principle that addiction can be overcome through loving relationships, especially a relationship with Jesus Christ. We uphold the primary role of the Church to help establish such relationships in order to heal and obtain mental health. Furthermore, we believe in the great power of forgiveness to cleanse and renew a person’s soul and mind.
