What is our ultimate goal? The Family Policy Institute of Washington aims to create a state where biblical values flourish. How do we achieve this? FPIW believes that for policies that honor God to be implemented, there must be a transformation of the heart. We also understand that heart change is a personal choice and cannot be compelled. Therefore, we will work to persuade Washingtonians to embrace Christ, one person at a time.
During this workshop, you will learn how to pray for the public spaces. You will understand how to identify and reach out to those who are feeling lost, downtrodden, marginalized, and those who are open to knowing Jesus in your daily life. This will take you beyond the routine of everyday life and into God’s greater mission.
The key to simple evangelism is genuinely caring about others. You will learn practical ways to identify the needs of others and assist them. They are not a project; they are your neighbors, whom God has called you to love. Therefore, learn how to sincerely care by speaking the truth in love, demonstrating truth in love to others, and faithfully steward the public square. So we all have a better state to live in.
