How to Get Involved

1. Register to Vote

• Online Registration: Visit the official Washington State voter portal at votewa.gov to register or update your information.
• In-Person Registration: You can register in person at your county elections office up to Election Day.
• Requirements: You must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old (or 16 to pre-register), and have a valid Washington State ID or the last four digits of your Social Security number.

2. Host a Voter Registration Event

Follow our simple, step-by-step guide to organize a successful event in your community:

• Set Clear Goals: Aim to register as many eligible voters as possible and educate attendees about the importance of voting.
• Choose the Right Time and Place: Select a visible, accessible location on a day with high community traffic.
• Gather Supplies: Bring registration forms, clipboards, pens, information handouts, and signs.
• Recruit and Train Volunteers: Brief volunteers on how to assist with registration and answer questions.
