BREAKING: SCOTUS Sides with Catholic Foster Care Agency

Yesterday, SCOTUS issued a unanimous decision in Fulton v. Philadelphia, a case involving a Catholic foster care agency that was excluded from the City of Philadelphia’s foster care program by the radical pagans in leadership, spurred by the LGBT lobby. The City had banned the group because they declined to place children with LGBT couples or individuals, citing church teachings about family.

This is part of a comprehensive, nationwide coordinated plan to attack, silence, and shut down Christians and Churches. This is not a conspiracy — this is real.

The vote was 9-0, with ALL justices – including the most liberal members: Sotomayor, Kagan, and Breyer – siding with religious liberty and joining Chief Justice Roberts in his authored majority opinion.

“[Catholic Social Services] seeks only an accommodation that will allow it to continue serving the children of Philadelphia in a manner consistent with its religious beliefs; it does not seek to impose those beliefs on anyone else. The refusal of Philadelphia to contract with CSS for the provision of foster care services unless it agrees to certify same-sex couples as foster parents cannot survive strict scrutiny and violates the First Amendment.”

They went on to write that “[Philadelphia] offers no compelling reason why it has a particular interest in denying an exception to CSS while making them available to others.

The Court has been siding more and more with religious freedom – and has interpreted the First Amendment with a lot of weight. As I have mentioned in the past, if Hillary Clinton had been President and had appointed three radical judges, this decision could easily gone the another way.

Though this case had nothing to do with COVID-19, it shows that the Court, and its members today, seem receptive to the idea that the First Amendment still matters – even if one doesn’t agree with a particular faith’s beliefs on family or sexuality.

This is a great development, and FPIW applauds this strong, decisive outcome from the nation’s highest court. We expect much of the Biden’s administration actions on sex and gender will be challenged in the federal courts and be overturned. We may have the breathing room in the next few years to change hearts and minds, and to recover the sheep that have wandered away.

We pray you bless the Supreme Court and provide it with wisdom and courage as it continues to defeat the evil that is using governments to attack Christians and Churches all across America.By Mark Miloscia|June 18th, 2021|Miscellaneous|0 Comments
