“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.’” (Luke 2:10-12)
Tomorrow is Christmas Day, the birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the son of God who came to earth to cleanse our sins, bring us hope and truth, and set the example for how we are to love and treat one another.
His light and truth form the foundation of the work FPIW does here in Washington on the issues of life, marriage, religious liberty, parental rights, and Christian social justice.
As we pause to celebrate, let us remember that the true meaning of Christmas isn’t gifts or even cherished time with family – it’s the birth of Jesus Christ. Everything that we do here locally and across the country is undertaken for the purpose of honoring God and serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
From our team here at FPIW, we want to thank you for your support and prayers this year, and we pray that you have a safe and joyful Christmas!
