We enter 2025 with great anticipation for all God has in store for FPIW. In 2024 we planted the seeds, and with your partnership in 2025, we believe we will reap the harvest. Looking ahead, here is a sample of our strategic plan to impact the story of our state.
(1) 1.7 Million Conservatives. Our overarching goal is to continue engaging the 1.7 million conservative residents in Washington as part of our Defender program. This program will empower us to support initiatives, elect more conservatives, and even overturn bad law. Currently, we have more than 87,000 Defenders. (2) Washington Defender App. To connect Defenders across the state, we released our groundbreaking new “Washington Defender” app. The platform will allow you to register PRO or CON on pending bills; equip yourself with cultural apologetics; and connect with allies who also care about shared interests. With a few clicks from our phone, you can shape the future of Washington State.
(3) FPIW Action in Action. In Olympia, we have boots on the ground with your lobbyist Brad Payne, who sees the story unfold first-hand. To relay to you the latest legislative news, we redesigned our FPIW Action website. There you can find more details on bills from our Legislative Updates, learn behind the scenes information, and also directly contact your legislator.
(4) Prayer Tour. Finally, please talk to your local church about joining our Prayer Tour in Olympia that will last the duration of the legislative session – from Monday, January 13 to Sunday, April 27. Our desire is for the church and FPIW Defenders to become Olympia’s “front line” of defense against any bills, ideas, or initiatives that are contrary to God’s plan for our state. During the session, our goal is to recruit at least one church or group of defenders to be present in Olympia praying over that legislative day.
