R-90, Repeal of SeXXX Education Curriculum, Announces 266,000 Signatures in Record Time
June 11, 2020 (SEATTLE) – Organizers of R-90, the referendum to repeal the radical SeXXX education mandates passed this year by Washington’s legislature and signed by Governor Jay Inslee, have submitted more than 266,000 signatures – more than double the amount needed for the item to appear on the ballot.
That amount is the highest number of signatures ever returned for a ballot referendum in Washington State, in the middle of a pandemic, and without paying any signature gatherers.
“This is great news considering the fragile state of our world at the present time,” said Mark Miloscia, Executive Director of the Family Policy Institute of Washington. “Washingtonians have spoken loud and clear: they believe it is the job of parents, not the government or the public schools, to decide what is and is not appropriate sex education for their children.”
Informed Parents of Washington posted a video Wednesday afternoon documenting their ballot delivery to the Secretary of State’s office.
Once the signatures are formally accepted by the Secretary of State, the item will be certified and added to the November 3 ballot.
