“It’s time to take back our state and end the Democrat tax-and-spend insanity. Republicans have a better plan.”
— Snohomish County Republican Party

As the third-most populous county in Washington State, the Snohomish County GOP holds a key strategic place in the political landscape. It is mostly rural, yet also contains a vibrant, high-tech city presence. In terms of business life, Snohomish County is home to many employees at world-class companies, such as Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, and Providence Hospital. FPIW Headquarters is in Snohomish County, and we are glad to team up with the Snohomish GOP in order to support a business-friendly and family-friendly region.

Conservative Core Values

The Snohomish GOP states: “There are many issues that we as Republicans hold dear to our hearts. However, our Core Values must represent the foundation of our principles, reflect who we are, what we stand for, and bring focus to issues with which we can win: God & Country; Individual Liberty; Smaller, Localized Government; Fiscal Responsibility; and Free Enterprise.” In essence, they support a small, constitutionally bound government, with low taxation on citizens, and a society where individual rights are protected and where innovative solutions from business are given primacy over a government-run economy.

Above all, we especially appreciate the God-centered focus from the Snohomish GOP and support its desire to make Snohomish one county humble to God. They state: “It is held as self-evident by our Founders that our rights are endowed to us by our Creator. This Declaration and acknowledgment of a Supreme Being bequeaths a moral responsibility on us as individuals and a nation that we are obligated to pass on to future generations.” Their website features this powerful and beautiful prayer from George Washington:

The Team

Its Chairman is Steve Mosman, a good friend of FPIW. We are delighted to join forces with him because of our shared values and Christian worldview. Mosman is pictured below with the other Snohomish GOP Officers. He is also on the right in the picture below with Paul Guppy, Senior Researcher at the Washington Policy Center (center), and Travis Pardo, Research Fellow at FPIW (left).

Events, Office Holders, and Candidates

As a powerful county in Washington, the Snohomish GOP can assemble some of the very best and most important voices in our state. A previous fundraiser attracted some 600 people, and a recent fundraiser included Brandi Kruse of Undivided; our friend Katy Faust of Them Before Us; WAGOP Chairman Jim Walsh; and Let’s Go WA’s Brian Heywood. That’s first-tier star power.

The Snohomish GOP supports key Elected Officials. Here is their description, and then the officials themselves:

They also support candidates who aim to increase the Republican presence in Olympia. FPIW was proud to support these candidates at a Prayer Tour in Lynnwood, Washington: Sherri Larkin (black-white dress), Tonya Stadlman (with microphone), and Chris Elder (red shirt).

And, the Snohomish GOP faithfully and enthusiastically supports the national Republican Party, too.

Supporting the Snohomish GOP

One of the best ways to support the mission of the Snohomish County GOP is to become a Precinct Committee Officer. Here are five of their key activities: “Attend district and county Party meetings, help formulate policy, and recruit party candidates and volunteers; Support genuine Republican candidates; Assist with fundraising events; Distribute candidate information to neighbors (precinct residents); Engage in Get-Out-the-Vote activities: register voters and encourage voter turnout.”

For more information and to volunteer, you can contact them via email at [email protected] and follow them on Facebook. To visit the team in person, pick up literature and yard signs, and see first-hand how the Snohomish County GOP works, here is the link to their physical address in Everett, Washington. As they rightfully proclaim: “It’s time to take back our state and end the Democrat tax-and-spend insanity. Republicans have a better plan” — and FPIW is glad to help join in that noble cause.
