You’ve probably seen several mentions this morning referencing something called “Giving Tuesday.” But do you know the origins?
Giving Tuesday, always the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, was created to give people a way to say, “THANK YOU!” to the charities and non-profits who make an impact in your area. It’s also one of the final opportunities you’ll have to make a donation for a tax-deduction on your 2020 taxes.
Today, on this Giving Tuesday, I hope you’ll prayerfully consider making an investment in the impactful work that the Family Policy Institute of Washington does here in our state. Every dollar donated to FPIW counts as a tax deduction – and it ensures that our organization can continue its critical programs to make a lasting difference in Washington:
- Our Olympia 101 and 301 citizen training programs ensure our like-minded Washingtonian citizens have the knowledge, tools and direction they need to impact public policy at the State Capitol in Olympia;
- Our Church Liaison Network is bridging the separation between Christian citizens and their state government, by identifying and equipping those who feel called to serve as the conduit of policy and cultural information, between FPIW and their church family;
- Our Legislative Liaison Network is a team of citizens that share our values and passion for good public policy and have answered the call to represent FPIW’s Christian pro-life and pro-family objectives, year-round, to his or her own district legislators.
- Our FPIW Prayer Network is a statewide collaboration of intercessors who are committed to pray for FPIW’s mission and goals in the public square and for Washington State Government, in general.
The Family Policy Institute of Washington has, for 13 years, fought to protect life, marriage, religious liberty, parental rights, and Christian social justice in Washington State. Now, more than ever, we need a strong, unified voice to continue promoting our beliefs – especially as the radicals in charge of our state government continue to persecute those who hold Christian beliefs.
Our 13 years of work has been made possible by generous Washingtonians like you. As we approach this year-end, we ask you to join us in helping to reach our goal of raising the resources we need in order to fully fund FPIW’s programs in 2021!
We sincerely appreciate your loyal support. Thank you!
