Hope for the Williams Family

This is the story of a homeschooling Christian family with nine kids.

Without question, the case of Carri & Larry Williams stands among the most shocking family law cases ever in our state. It rocked the state of Washington and garnered national and international headlines: ABC News, New York Times, USA Today, Daily Mail UK, Seattle Times, just to name a few.

Yet there is another side to this story.

As the largest voice for politically active Christians in our state, the Family Policy Institute of Washington encourages you to consider the evidence presented by our friend Bruce E. Hawkins. Bruce, a courageous attorney, cares deeply about parental rights and any unjust persecution they may endure, especially those parents of faith who homeschool their children. His book “Harshly Condemned” presents compelling new evidence that can and should be examined as citizens research the full story with due diligence.

Bruce gives voice to the voiceless — to Mr. Larry Williams, the father — and particularly to Mrs. Carri Williams, the mother, who contributes a good portion to the book in her own beautiful and moving prose. Through her words, you will hear her voice and mother’s heart. Both remain faithful to each other and to their family. Both remain committed to our Lord and Savior. As of now, both of them remain in prison, unable to speak out and reach the public . . .

Until now.

Learning “the rest of the story” may surprise and enlighten citizens, especially those who were only exposed to the media’s simplified and soundbite version of events. The evidence presented is so powerful that it may pierce the reader’s heart to see how this loving and patriotic family with nine children was torn apart. It is truly heartbreaking. For those who become sympathetic to their case, readers can learn more at the website: HarshlyCondemned.com.

Well done, Bruce. Well done. The seeds of hope have been planted. FPIW has spoken to both Carri and Larry via phone and email, and we pray that the truth shall prevail.

P.S. The pictures in the book — more than twenty of them — are amazing and each “worth a thousand words”.
